Australian Holidays Ad

The Entrance has an activity for every age, from water sports to scenic flights through to cycling tours and playgrounds. You can plan as much or as little as you want when you come here, as it is a town where anything goes! The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed, so many people just love to kick back in one of the cafes and enjoy a great cup of coffee while reading the morning coffee, while others like to take a morning walk along the beach followed by a yoga class on the beach. There are many walkways and boardwalks to meander your way along, which provide stunning views and breathtaking lookouts along the way.

Dining out is a must at least once when you are here, with some of the freshest local seafood being served up daily within many of the restaurants. Whether you wish to dine alfresco, do some fine dining or get a simple feed of fish and chips and eat it on the beach, you must at least once try the seafood which is some of the best in Australia. You can also take a trip out to the neighbouring Hunter Valley region where you can sample some of the exported wines as well as dine in one of the award winning restaurants. The Entrance has many different cuisines that are served up in cafes, take away outlets, a la carte restaurants and fine dining restaurants.

You might also like to do some fishing along the river or even some deep sea fishing on one of the fishing charters that depart daily. And there is also the chance to go scuba diving or snorkelling while you are here! The Entrance is also known for its many water sports such as swimming, water skiing, surfing, kite surfing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and more. You can spend as much time as you like by the water’s edge and let the kids run free, and with safe patrolled beaches close by you can rest at ease!

The foreshore has some great playgrounds for the kids to run around in and with the giant chess board they can have hours of fun. Vera’s water garden is a must do when looking for something else for the kids to be entertained with, with plenty of water sprays and climbing activities, the kids will have a ball. There is plenty of shade and lots of seating so bring a picnic and kick back while the kids look after themselves.

The Entrance really is a family destination with plenty of things for everyone to do but there is also many other activities such as hiking, bush walking, shopping, horse riding, four wheel driving tours, winery tours, sand dunning and pelican feeding to take advantage of while you are here. And with a number of bars and night spots, the fun doesn’t have to end when the sun goes down.

The list is endless when it comes to the array of activities that you can do while holidaying at accommodation at The Entrance, so you are just going to have to come here and find out for yourself, and you will see that you are going to need more than just a couple of days to really experience this little pocket of paradise!
